How does Wi-Fi work in Toyota cars or SUVs?

In the last few years, there is hardly a big-ticket consumer item available on the market that doesn’t offer some kind of internet access. Even fairly mundane products like refrigerators and coffee makers can be connected to a wireless internet signal. It was only a matter of time before the automotive world began to dip its metaphorical toes in the water. Toyota officially entered the world of in-vehicle Wi-Fi connectivity earlier this year, but as more models are announced that carry the capability as standard equipment, it’s important to answer as many questions as possible – as early as possible. Official release date and performance information for the 2019 Toyota RAV4

Toyota took the stage at the New York International Auto show to announce the official release date and performance information for the 2019 Toyota RAV4. The Toyota crossover SUV is now the best-selling new vehicle in the automaker’s lineup and is the most popular model in the entire automotive industry that isn’t a pickup truck. Given the changes and upgrades Toyota has implemented for the 2019 RAV4, they aren’t going to want to keep potential buyers waiting too long for it to arrive at dealerships like Colonial Toyota. It will likely be one of the first 2019 models to be delivered and should be showing up in our inventory later this year, in the late summer or early fall. Read the rest of this entry »
