Fuel economy is just as important to automakers as it is to consumers. Toyota is an automotive industry leader in fuel efficiency thanks to its growing lineup of hybrid vehicles. While using the latest technology is an excellent way to save some money at the gas pump, it isn’t the only way for drivers to conserve fuel. These are the top three gas mileage myths that won’t seem to go away despite major developments in the automotive industry. When is Toyota going to redesign the Highlander?

If you’re a regular visitor to the Colonial Toyota Blog, you know that we are more than somewhat smitten with automaker’s crossover SUVs for sale or lease at the showroom. Let’s take a look at what we know so far. Read the rest of this entry »

Toyota’s Yaris Adventure April Fools’ Day Joke

Happy April Fools’ Day. The one day of the year when nobody believes anything they read on the internet, which is not coincidentally the same level of suspicion we should have every day. That is unless you exclusively read the Colonial Toyota Blog. Our friends who run the Toyota Media Site have gotten in on the day’s festivities with a little prank of their own. Toyota’s Yaris Adventure April Fools’ Day joke pokes a little fun at itself, but it does also make for an interesting thought exercise. What is new with the 2019 Toyota C-HR?

Technically, it falls inside the subcompact crossover SUV class, but it also handles like a nimble hatchback with fuel economy scores that can rival just about any non-hybrid vehicle on the road.
