Enter the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure in Milford, CT – now available in the Colonial Toyota showroom. The 2018 RAV4 Adventure sets itself apart from the rest of the model's lineup by being built just a little bit different to meet the needs of buyers with active outdoor lifestyles. Toyota increased the overall ride height of the 2018 RAV4 Adventure to help it when driving in off-road environments. Additionally, the new Adventure trim brings an increased towing capacity to the RAV4 platform.
Not only does the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure have improved capability, it also carries additional accessories that will let other know they are looking at something truly different. Toyota didn't have to go far to find inspiration for outfitting the 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure. The new and more rugged trim grade offers many of the same interior features and systems found with the XLE combined with the sporty and athletic exterior elements that make the SE so distinct. A few of the Adventure-exclusive features include oversized fender flares housing larger tires and wheels that share some similarities with Toyota pickup trucks. Special "Adventure" badging can be found on the newest member of the RAV4 family as well as matching door sills and all-weather cargo mats.

Performance Specs

Like the rest of the 2018 RAV4 models for sale or lease at Colonial Toyota, the new Adventure trim uses the same naturally aspirated engine. Under the hood sits a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to a six-speed automatic transmission. New drivers may be surprised to see how much they can get from the 176-horsepower engine.

Towing Capacity

The RAV4 didn't previously have much a reputation for towing capacity – the Adventure changes that. Buyers choosing front-wheel-drive models will be able to pull loads of up to 2,900 pounds. Opting for the all-wheel-drive system will boost that figure to 3,500 pounds. This pulls the 2018 RAV4 Adventure in line with the rest of the industry segment.
