2019 Toyota RAV4 vs. 2019 Nissan Rogue

There is no sign of the arms race among automakers slowing down for the upcoming model year. For Toyota that means releasing a vastly upgraded version of the RAV4 that is more powerful, more efficient and features more advanced technology than ever before. With that escalation in performance and equipment, the rest of the segment has followed suit. A comparison of the 2019 Toyota RAV4 vs. 2019 Nissan Rogue will show current and future Colonial Toyota customers that the RAV4 will easily remain in its position at the top of the segment. The RAV4 has held several advantages over the Nissan Rogue in past years and those disparities will only widen when the 2019 version arrives at the Colonial Toyota showroom. Anyone who would like to know when the 2019 RAV4 is available or would like to begin the pre-ordering process with one of our sales professionals can contact a Colonial Toyota sales professional today by calling, 203-286-5500.
The list of changes made to the 2019 RAV4 is extensive and covers just about every aspect of the crossover SUV. Among the most impressive additions to the coming 2019 model of the Toyota RAV4 is the expansion of its connectivity offerings. All versions of the 2019 RAV4 that feature the automaker's Entune 3.0 infotainment system will also have a stable and secure Wi-Fi hotspot embedded into it. Up to five devices can be connected simultaneously inside of the 2019 RAV4. The 2019 Nissan Rogue doesn't offer anything that matches this capability. Additionally, previous models of the Toyota RAV4 have offered more available cargo space than the corresponding Rogue. This aspect is unlikely to change with the new model year. The 2019 RAV4 is slightly longer and wider than previous versions. The advantages held by the RAV4 over the Rogue will also extend to both hybrid models of both.

When the 2018 models of the Toyota RAV4 and Nissan Rogue were release, the former held a slight performance lead over the latter. That separation is likely to get wider for the 2019 model year. Toyota has employed a revised 2.5-liter, inline four-cylinder engine in the 2019 RAV4. Final output figures have yet to be released at the time of publication, however, the automaker has publicly stated that the 2019 Toyota RAV4 will produce more power without sacrificing its excellent fuel economy. In fact, not only have the strong fuel economy scores of the new RAV4 been preserved, they have been improved. Much of this success will be thanks to the eight-speed automatic transmission being used by Toyota.
