Toyota has retained the same powertrain for the 2020 4Runner. Under the hood of the SUV is the proven naturally aspirated 4.0-liter, V-6 engine attached to a five-speed automatic transmission. It will make 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. Two- and four-wheel-drive options are available.
