The updated battery system used in the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid is attached to a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to a continuously variable transmission. It will produce up to 121 horsepower and has an estimated fuel economy of better than 50 miles per gallon.
All coming trim grades of the 2020 Corolla Hybrid will be equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. The updated system now offers Lane Tracing Assist to center the Corolla Hybrid in the lane of a highway and a Road Sign Assist for additional peace of mind on unfamiliar roads.
The 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid will join most of the rest of the automaker’s lineup in offering cutting-edge connectivity equipment. This includes Toyota Entune 3.0 as standard equipment. In addition to having all of its native features, it will also offer Apple CarPlay™.
